How to make your smartphone battery life longer
Do you often wonder why your battery life is short? A lot of people are wondering so too. The experience is not yours alone.
A recent report by antivirus software producer Avast reveals that there are certain apps on your phone that you can get rid off to make its battery life longer.
According to the report, these applications run in the background on your smartphone and eat away your battery life:
- Samsung AllShare
- Samsung Security Policy Updates
- Beaming Service for Samsung
- chatON
- Google Maps
- AppLock
- DU Battery Saver
If there are any of these apps you do not use, you should consider deleting or signing out of them, to avoid unnecessary battery consumption.
The report by Avast also highlights a few other apps which run your smartphone battery down during use. These apps include:
- Samsung WatchON
- Samsung Video Editor
- Netflix
- Spotify
- Snapchat
- Clean Master
- LINE
- Microsoft Outlook
- BBC News
- ES File Explorer
You would want to avoid using these apps when your battery has about 20% power left.
